We exist because the brotherhood a man forges in the Teams was never meant to end when his service does.
Mission, Vision & Purpose
The Punta Brava Foundation helps Navy SEALs channel the purpose and brotherhood they forge in the SEAL Teams into their next arena.
Every SEAL who leaves the Teams arrives at a life as worthy as the one he left.
We exist because the brotherhood a man forges in the Teams was never meant to end when his service does.
The Punta Brava Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the nonprofit arm of Punta Brava.
The Waterman Program
One program, built as a lifecycle. Entry is by invitation. A SEAL is identified, vetted, and invited; developed as a Waterman inside Punta Brava; and rises to stand for the men who follow.
If he has a wife and children, they are inside the design, not beside it.
When a SEAL leaves the Teams, he does not lose a job. He loses the structure, the tribe, the mission, the standards, the shared hardship, and the rhythm that organized his life. The architecture of meaning goes all at once.
Civilian life does not rebuild it by default. So the comparison begins, and measured against the Teams, almost everything loses. Left alone, that gap turns inward.
The answer is not to replace the Teams. Nothing replaces them. The answer is a worthy arena for this phase of his life: tribe, mission, and embodiment, built to include his family instead of competing with it. That is what the Waterman Program is for.
Candidate
Invitation only. The network identifies the man and the committee vets him. There is no application.
Qualifying Waterman
In qualification. The program, tailored fully to the man, and to his wife and children when he has them.
Active Waterman
The program complete, he participates deeply in the club and pours into the men behind him.
Legacy Waterman
Beyond the active years. The elders of the program, and the circle that holds.
We accelerate and pave the way through the best in the world of what already works. Where nothing does, we build the creative solution ourselves. Every element is designed to meet the operator exactly where he is, holistically, and where there is a family, to reach the wife, the children, and the couple together.
That is what a gift to the Foundation funds: best-in-world solutions to a need this large.
